Loaf 94 – Ciabatta for Gifts

This loaf and the next one are replacements for family gifts that we didn’t get to exchange earlier due to weather problems (See Loaves 91 and 92). I corrected my ciabatta mistake from Loaf 90, and proofed these loaves for an hour on a well floured breadboard before flipping them over onto parchment paper for a second hour of proofing. They went into the oven after that.

They came out beautifully, and I have to trust the crumb came out even this time. I didn’t get to see the insides because I didn’t bake extra loaves for us, as we’re still eating leftover loaves.
