Loaf 54 – Sourdough with Mom
My mom came to visit for a few days and I got to show off to her that I could make really good sourdough!
No experiments going on here, I had to nail it. This was made in one day, I fed the starter at 7:40am, used it at 1:15pm after we returned from lunch. The bread went into the over at 8:00pm – too late for dinner but I made sure to proof it enough! Out of the oven about 8:30pm and we taste tested it at 9:00pm.

Perfect! It’s really cool to show your mom you can do something like this. I’m all smiles. And now we’re set for sandwiches for a few days.
