It’s a beautiful day in our neighborhood as Sarah and I fly out of San Francisco for two weeks in Spain. I was in Madrid once many years ago for a conference and don’t remember much about it, and Sarah has since put it on my “no fly zone” so I wouldn’t go back without her – and now we finally have a chance to make the trip.

Our acclimation days will be in Madrid before we head to a few other stops, but first we’ll spend a day getting there via Frankfurt.
