Eric
Though he looks very contemplative, Eric is actually playing the drums and focused completely on that.

Processed a lot in Adobe Lightroom.

Flatirons Climber

Taken from the “east bench” where many climbers begin their ascent of Flatirons 2, one of three beautiful rock formations on the edge of Boulder, CO. This climber (not me!) is planning his route.

August 11, 2007 – Carded!

Carded!
40° 1’2.58″N 105°16’41.78″W
I had some other options today for the shot, but ended up with this snapshot instead. Why? This guy carded me going into a bar in Boulder. Given that I had a significant birthday this year that was well over 2X the drinking age, I had to document this.

Sitting on the tarmac at Denver International Airport. A storm had just rolled through, so we had to wait for them to reopen our jetway.

August 9, 2007 – Foggy Golded Gate Bridge

Foggy Golded Gate Bridge
37°49’45.25″N 122°28’47.09″W
Driving over the Golden Gate Bridge. Great fog that makes the tops of the towers disappear without affecting visability on the bridge.

It’s probably a bad idea to try to take pictures like this if you’re the driver, especially if you’re towing a boat. Probably, but okay today.

August 6, 2007 – Shreddin’ the Gnar

Shreddin' the Gnar
37° 9’52.34″N 121°36’59.85″W
Sorry about the name, but that’s what the rider said it needed to be called. A variation on wakeboarding, this is wakesurfing – surfing on the wake behind the boat at about 10mph.

August 5, 2007 – Crashing Waves

Crashing Waves

Kevin and I spent the weekend in LA and hit Venice Beach today. This is a shot of Kevin crashing back first through one of the waves.
