I’m visiting my mother in Palm Springs. She has a number of beautiful rose bushes in her yard – I shot this bloomin’ rose after dark.

I was photographing a candle, and found this interesting angle. Works well with Halloween coming up.

We sailed out of Monterey Bay at sunrise this morning for a memorial service for Irene. It was an incredibly beautiful morning on the water, filled with reflection.
