We spent two full days in Yellowstone, plus a day traveling
in from Jackson and a day traveling out to Moran. Our campground was at
Fishing Bridge, right at the top of Yellowstone Lake, about in the middle
of the park. The park has five entrances, each leading to the Grand Loop,
a large figure eight of roadway in the middle of the park. This comprises
all the roads in Yellowstone, for a total of 250 miles of pavement. Rather
sparse considering the park is the size of Delaware and Rhode Island combined.
We didn't drive 75 of those miles.
We toured, we visited with friends, we fished, we played, and we had a very
scary experience with Shane. I decided to make subpages for this part of the
trip.
Yellowstone Tours - Many of the images
you expect, except we're in some of them.
Yellowstone Wildlife - The rest of the images
you expect, and we aren't in any of them.
Yellowstone Wild Life - Well, not really
that wild, but we met up with our friends the Menzels who were traveling
through.
Yellowstone Terror - Shane scares the daylights out of us.
