I took it to stage 2 a couple days ago by feeding it more flour and water. It hadn&#8217;t changed significantly in that time, but it&#8217;s starting to show some action now. There are signs of foaming and it has a very distinctive yeast odor now!<\/p>\n<p>I will feed it again tomorrow morning and move this thing along.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m keeping track of what I do with a Sharpie on the plastic wrap.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My &#8220;Just South of San Francisco Sourdough&#8221; starter is about four days old now.
