July 4 – Heading to Berlin SFO -> FRA -> BER

Berlin

July 5 – Berlin, Day 1 Arrive at hotel, Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Memorial, and beer of course.
July 6 – Berlin, Day 2 KaDeWe, Museum fur Kommunikation, Checkpoint Charley, Balloon Ride, Topography of Terrors, Mustafa’s, Potsdamm Platz.
July 7 – Berlin, Day 3 DDR Museum, Alexanderplatz, the Wall Documentation Center, dinner and free opera.

Prague

July 8 – Prague, Day 1 Train ride, new hotel, Czech lunch, Old Town walkaround, great dinner, great sunset, and of course gelato and beer. Lots of extra pictures.
July 9 – Prague, Day 2 – Prague Castle and St. Vitus, free concert, John Lennon wall, Tijana tour through the city, Petrin Observation Tower, dinner and beer.
July 10 – Prague, Day 3 – The National Technical Museum, Letenské sady Park, the Dancing House, Budvar, and a Michelin one star rated dinner at Alcron.

Munich

July 11 – Munich, Day 1 Prague airport, Marienplatz, wurst, Augustiner-Keller Biergarten.
July 12 – Munich, Day 2 Deutsches Museum, dinner at Viktualienmarkt, hotel room camera obscura.
July 13 – Munich (and Innsbruck) – Day 3 Ludwig’s Castle Herrenchiemsee, Innsbruck ski jump, Innsbruck, best gelato yet.
July 14 – Munich – Day 4, part 1 We visit Dachau Concentration Camp.
July 14 – Munich – Day 4, part 2 Munich’s English Garden, Augustiner-Keller Biergarten, stupid hotel tricks.
July 15 – Munich – Day 5 BMW Welt, BMW Classic Car City Tour, train to Stuttgart.
July 15 – Munich – Day 5 BMW Museums Main museum and Classics Collection.

Stuttgart

July 16 – Stuttgart – Day 1 Porsche factory tour, Mercedes Classics visit (not), police escort, Dinkelaker.

July 17 – Heading Home
